Additionally, the use of recycled materials in the production of acoustic spray insulation can contribute to the Materials & Resources credit.
In terms of Indoor Environmental Quality, acoustic spray insulation can help improve the acoustical performance of a building, reducing noise transmission and contributing to a more comfortable and productive indoor environment.
To achieve LEED certification, building projects must earn a minimum number of credits across several categories, including Energy & Atmosphere, Materials & Resources, and Indoor Environmental Quality. The specific number of credits required depends on the specific rating system (e.g. LEED for New Construction, LEED for Existing Buildings, etc.) and the type of building (e.g. residential, commercial, etc.).

REGIONAL MATERIALS
BoSpray is manufactured in Germany.
Adhesives are produced and shipped in concentrated form and are diluted
with water sourced from the job site.
RENEWABLE/RAW INGREDIENTS
Cellulose is the primary raw material ingredient in the BoSpray. This contains wood, cotton and other renewable resources. Cellulose takes less energy to make compared to other building insulation materials.

BoSpray doesn’t contain raw materials that are on the Red List. This is a list which contains some of the worst materials prevalent in the building industry. Additionally,
these products do not contain glass, mineral, asbestos, silica, or synthetic

AVOIDANCE OF HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES:
BoSpray, doesn’t contain any: Lead (Pb), Cadmium(Cd), Mercury (Hg), and Hexavalent Chromium (Cr (VI)), or other heavy metals. Additionally, these products do not contain ozone depleting substances such as CFC’s or HCFC’s; Isocyanate or any Brominated Flame Retardants (PBTs).
